The Corinthian Women
By Alix Fagersten
The first ever "Pearls by the Bay" luncheon will be held on April 23rd. This elegant event is sure to become a Corinthian tradition and is being held to honor all of our wonderful past Corinthian women presidents. There will be a fabulous lunch served, a raffle and a Spirits and Stones trunk show. Don't miss this event and make sure to wear your favorite hat!
Calling all women. The world famous Corinthian Women Sailing Seminar is quickly approaching. If you're new to sailing or just want to polish your skills, be sure to sign up for the 2004 Women's Sailing Seminar: The first session will be held on May 1st and 2nd and the second session will be held on May 15th and 16th. This year's seminar will feature "more time on the water". A gourmet onboard picnic lunch, Corinthian Yacht Club sailing gloves and hats will be provided to all who participate. And remember, if you're in need of sailing gear look no further as the club store is stocking chic sailing gear.
If you haven't been to the club lately, it's well worth a trip to check out the display case. The Corinthian Women have begun showcasing Corinthian artists/craftsman each month. Bev Dunn's weaving is currently on display and looks beautiful.
The Corinthian Women meet the second Wednesday of every month in the club library at 6:30 PM. All women of the Corinthian Yacht Club are welcome and encouraged to join the fun! The Corinthian Women is a great organization and a wonderful way to meet new friends and get involved in the club!
