The Corinthian Women
by Alix Fagersten
After having to postpone Santas Brunch one week due to storm damage to our clubs roof or was it damage from reindeer hoofs the brunch was a huge success! Santa and Mrs. Clause, much to the delight of the children, arrived by boat and gave presents to each and every one of the awed children. Thank you to Allyn and Kim Schafer for providing the beautifully decorated Triton. Thank you to Teresa Prescott and all of her helpers for organizing such a fun Harry Potter event
it was quite magical! Thank you to our elf, Mary Ellen Wetlsen. And of course, a big huge THANK YOU for our very own Santa and Mrs. Clause, John and Mary Anne Bogue.
The Club store has a ton of new sassy merchandise. Wine bottle totes, hand bags, and sailing gloves, all with our burgee, to name just a few. Dont forget to stop by the store and stock up on Corinthian wear and gear during the Mid-Winters on February 15th and 16th.
Among the clubs many spring events on the calendar, the Easter Brunch is quickly approaching! Dont miss out on this popular event and pencil in Easter Sunday, April 20th, on your calendars now.
The Corinthian Womens officers for 2003 are as follows
The President is Sharon Barr, the Vice President is Paula Hansson, the Treasurer is Tari Nix and the Secretary is Alix Fagersten. And, the 2003 Board Members are Sharon Barr, Esther Lerner-Carrico, Bev Dunn, Alix Fagersten, Paula Hansson, Marie Jorajuria, Loretta Madden, Cindi Marques, Tari Nix, Teresa Prescott, Edwina Serventi, Sandra Solomon and Susan Travis.
The Corinthian Women meet the second Wednesday of every month in the club library at 6:30 PM. Note the new earlier time. Every Corinthian woman is invited and encouraged to join as the meetings are open to all membership and are a great way to meet other women and have fun! In closing, the Corinthian Women would like to thank the club and its membership for all of the support for the store and activities that we sponsor throughout the year.
