Eight Bells

It is with regret that we announce the passing of Jack R. DeBruin last year, a loyal member of Corinthian Yacht Club since 1992.

In addition to being an active participant in many Club activities, he was a member of the Ignacio Rotary Club, the San Rafael Elks, and the Rolling Hills Club of Novato. He enjoyed an active and successful life and particularly enjoyed boating, tennis, and travel. However, his greatest enjoyment was the time he spent with his wife Luella and children Julie, Brooks, Lincoln, Derck, and eight grandchildren. Jack served in the Navy during World War II on the USS Wisconsin, after which he became a successful businessman in San Francisco and Marin County. He will be deeply missed by his family as well as a wide spectrum of friends.
