Midsummer Social Events

July 4th -- Independence Day

This year’s Independence Day celebration at the Club will begin on the deck at 5:30 pm. Chef Ian will be offering a traditional July 4th holiday barbecue and DJ Michael Keating will be on hand with a great selection of recorded dance music for all to enjoy. The music will start at 6:00 p.m. and conclude at 9:00 p.m., as the fireworks across the bay commence. Special recognition goes to Sharon Barr, a relatively new member to our CYC family, for volunteering to chair this exciting summer holiday party. Early reservations for this popular event will be very much appreciated.

July 14 -- Bastille Day Dinner

Join your friends for a festive Bastille Day Dinner on July 14. Hors d’oeuvres and no host cocktails will be served in the Members Bar from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Dinner will follow in Members Dining at 7:00 p.m. A French-country menu will be featured and a fun-filled evening is planned with entertainment provided by some of our very talented Club Members including the fabulous Corinthian Men’s Chorus. I understand they are brushing up on their French for the occasion. Making a debut on the CYC stage will be our Webmaster and Telltale co-editor Bruce Powell, who will play the French accordion for Pascale Powell, as she sings a favorite tale. (Look for a flyer in the June mailing.) If you wish to attend this event, please make a reservation soon, as seats will go quickly.
