The Corinthian Women News

by Esther Lerner Carrico

The Club store will be open December 1st from 3:30 p.m.to 6:30 p.m.; December 2nd from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and December 3rd from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. so that our members can Christmas shop in time for the holidays. The Corinthian Women will be providing refreshments and complimentary gift wrap for the lucky recipients of our superb clothing and accessories which have arrived just in time for the holidays.

As the Christmas holiday approaches we are calling on volunteers to help with decorating the club once again. Contact Paula Hansson at (415) 381-5728 to help with club decorating on Tuesday November 28, 2000 or simply show up at 6:00 p.m. It always proves to be a good time for club members to get in the holiday spirit with friends.

Don’t forget your favorite boat pictures with family and friends for decorating the Christmas boat tree. Turn them in to the club office by November 28, 2000.

Our wonderful Eggnog Party is set for December 2, 2000 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Bring your favorite appetizers and, of course, your congeniality and appetite for a great night to kick off the holiday season.

The Santa’s Brunch is on December 10, 2000 and The Corinthian Women have many surprises for members and their children. Be sure to come and see our surprise Santa.

Mark your calendars for The Corinthian Women’s November 8, 2000 Board meeting in the library at 6:45 p.m. All women members are welcome.

The Corinthian Women Annual Board meeting will take place this year on December 13, 2000 commencing at 6:45 p.m. in the club lounge. We will say farewell to our superb leaders for 2000 and initiate the incoming President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and our 2001 Board members. Refreshments will be served at our annual meeting. Come have a toast for the new year of The Corinthian Women and to acknowledge all those who have worked so hard to provide the extra events and services at the Club we so enjoy.
