Eight Bells

(submitted by John Colver)

Mike Koberle passed away just before Christmas, following a hard battle with cancer over the last few years. He was only 56. Mike joined Corinthian in 1969 and in the early 1980's, took over from Bob Lowry as Honorary Club Counsel, a position he held until around 1995 when he handed the reins over to Mark Murray.

Mike resigned from the Club in 1998 as his health deteriorated.  He will be remembered for his long record of service to the Club and our sympathies go out to his family.  It is interesting to reflect that for nearly forty years only three members have served as Honorary Club Counsel.
